Cute cafe! I ordered the lover coffee: it kinda tasted like watered down coffee, but it was okay. The atmosphere was cute and cozy. They have so many options for foods and drinks and wish I could try them all!

I got a hot chocolate and some came to enjoy and the place was definitely the best cafe there. It was nice because the place was beautiful and it had many borad games to enjoy with friends, and also the workers there were so nice and kind. It was an amazing experience. And the prices are also amazing I would definitely go here again.

A quaint Cafe to grab a Chai Latte and a Nutella cookie for your afternoon pick me up. The service was friendly, quick, and professional. I'll definitely stop by again when I return to NJIT. Thanks for an awesome visit. It was a beautiful day outside so I sat on a small park across the street on NJIT campus, but they have tables and chairs inside.

I hate when people say this bc it’s so over used...but this is literally the epitome of a “hidden gem” It’s exactly what you’re looking for. Can’t believe I’ve passed this countless times. Quaint and Quiet (until I walked in) but it’s such a vibe. if it’s for you, you immediately feel you got it right upon entry.
Smell of coffee affirms the taste. The options are limitless they have a limited edition menu that is worded perfectly. The bubble tea was tasty. I like places that make you feel comfortable to ask questions if you’re wanting to extend your palate. They have a back yard and front outdoor seating area which looks cool to meet up and potentially talk more comfortably.Parking is plentiful. They also had a cool community board of events that was cool to me. Oh yea they stay open mad late too.
Just go.

Because of the pandemic, many small businesses are considering their next steps. When the opportunity presents itself, I try to support them any way I can. I stumbled upon Intrinsic Café in Newark, NJ, and I was so happy I did!
Their front patio and open backyard space are cozy and inviting, great place to kick back and sip/eat your troubles away. They are accommodating in every aspect for this day in age: food selection, outdoor space, and service. These are fine qualities to possess in any business, even more so for a gem like this.
Take some time to meet Wanny and Claude-Alix, the owner and manager respectively, of Intrinsic Cafe. They were wonderful, patient and always happy to see a friendly face. Thank you both for a wonderful first visit experience and I look forward to going back!
Don’t forget to support small local businesses!

This is such an aesthetic café that is very chill to study or just have bubble tea dates! I love how it’s decorated and how small it is. I had a strawberry smoothie with tapioca and passion fruit slushee with mango pop. They were made so well and very quickly. They do have snacks and baked good which looked very good & fresh! The service here is always quick & the workers are always kind.

Intrinsic Café is a beautiful cafe located in the heart of Newark, NJ on Sussex Ave. There’s plenty of seating inside, and even a patio area out back. The cafe is great for setting up your laptop or just enjoying a cup of coffee or pastry. The iced vanilla latte I had was very flavorful. The service is friendly and just overall good vibes.

Me and my wife now met here many years ago and this is a great meet up spot. The staff was very friendly and quick to greet us. The service was amazing and we loved our passion fruit and vanilla latte. Owner was really friendly as well she greeted us and welcomed us in. They have an outdoor patio space seating in the back.

What a hidden gem... I was skeptical when I pulled up to the location but figured it had almost 5 stars so why not give it a shot. Well I am happy I walked into this secluded piece of PEACE.
I order a coffee and bagel and decided to stay and work at this location it was very inviting with artist renderings in every corner. The establishment is both a refernce of art, students, and patrons rolled into a Newark tribute of what the city really offers.
There also appears to be a backyard patio but stayed in. Will post updated photos should I venture out next time...
